Medical treatment in Malaysia, accompanied.
Find a hospital, a stay, and a flight, in one calm conversation.
DoMed Travel is a marketplace for Indonesian patients seeking treatment in Kuala Lumpur, Penang, and Johor Bahru — handled in Bahasa Indonesia or English, on WhatsApp, by people who have done this before.
A patient journey
How it works
Three steps. No forms first, no commitments. The conversation starts on WhatsApp; the trip is built around your treatment, not around an itinerary template.
- 01
Tell us your condition
Send us a message with your diagnosis or symptoms, your city, and roughly when you want to travel. Send a photo of a prior medical report if you have one — Indonesian referrals are normal, not extra.
- 02
We send a shortlist
Within a working day, you receive a shortlist of two or three hospitals, indicative consult fees in MYR and IDR, suggested neighborhoods to stay in, and flight options that match your treatment dates.
- 03
We accompany you
From the WhatsApp message to the hospital lobby. Airport pickup, an Indonesian-speaking liaison on the ground, and a single point of contact through follow-up appointments.
Where patients travel
Featured destinations
Three Malaysian cities, each with its own medical center of gravity. We work with hospital partners in all three; the right one depends on your condition, not on a brochure.
We assist you in connecting with, registering for, and scheduling appointments at your preferred partner hospital in Malaysia.

What we coordinate
What is included
A single coordinator handles treatment booking, accommodation near the hospital, return flights, airport pickup, and an Indonesian-speaking liaison on the ground. We do not mark up hospital fees; you see the same MYR consultation price the hospital quotes any patient.
Not included
Visa fees, travel insurance premiums, and personal expenses. We help you arrange them, but we do not bundle them into a package price.
Founded in Jakarta. Working with hospital partners across Kuala Lumpur, Penang, and Johor Bahru. Bahasa Indonesia and English. WhatsApp first.
About Us
We are a professional team based in Malaysia dedicated to helping Indonesian patients access the best medical care without the bureaucratic confusion.
Before you ask us
Questions patients ask
-
How much does this cost?
It depends on the treatment, the hospital, and the length of stay. Hospital consultations in Kuala Lumpur typically start from MYR 200 (around IDR 700,000). We share indicative figures in MYR and IDR with every shortlist, before you commit to anything.
-
Do you handle visas?
Indonesian passport holders do not need a visa for short medical visits to Malaysia. For longer stays or follow-up treatment, we walk you through the medical-visit pass process and help prepare the hospital letter.
-
What if something goes wrong during treatment?
You have a single point of contact who is reachable on WhatsApp throughout the trip. For clinical issues, your hospital is in charge of care; we coordinate with them, your family, and any second-opinion logistics you ask for. Travel insurance with medical coverage is strongly recommended and we help you compare options.
-
Can my family travel with me?
Yes — and it is the norm, not the exception. Most of our shortlists are built for two or three travelers. We arrange family rooms, multi-bed apartments, and meals near the hospital.
-
How are payments handled?
You pay the hospital directly for treatment, in MYR — usually by debit or credit card at the hospital cashier. Accommodation and flights you pay through your own card or transfer; we send you the booking links. During our Beta Program, all coordination services are free.
-
I cannot speak English. Is that a problem?
Not at all. The entire process can run in Bahasa Indonesia, from the first WhatsApp message through your liaison at the hospital. Most of our hospital partners also have Indonesian-speaking patient relations staff.
-
Is my information private?
Medical reports stay between you, the receiving hospital, and your assigned coordinator. We do not share patient details with third-party advertisers. We hold only what we need to coordinate the trip, and you can ask us to delete it after care is complete.
